My Happy Weekend

Last weekend was very special for me. I had so much fun, and it made me feel really happy.

On Saturday morning, I woke up early because I was excited about the day ahead. My mom planned a trip to the park with my family. The weather was perfect—sunny but not too hot. At the park, we played games like hide-and-seek and tag. It was great exercise, and we all laughed a lot. After playing, we enjoyed some snacks together, like fruit and sandwiches. It felt good to be outside in nature.

In the afternoon, I helped my dad water the plants in our garden. Gardening is one of my favorite activities. Watching the flowers grow makes me feel proud. Later, I read my favorite book under the shade of a big tree. It was peaceful and relaxing.

Sunday was also full of excitement. In the morning, I went to an art class where I learned how to paint sunflowers. Painting is something I love doing because it lets me use my imagination. My teacher said my painting was beautiful, which made me feel confident.

After lunch, my friends came over, and we played board games. We had so much fun competing against each other. It was a great way to spend time with people I care about.

By the end of the weekend, I realized that spending time with family and friends, as well as doing things I enjoy, made me feel happy and relaxed. Even though school starts again on Monday, I know I’ll always look forward to weekends like this one.

This weekend taught me that happiness doesn’t have to come from big things—it can be found in small moments too!
